How speakers work!

Computer speakers are a method for computers to create sounds by means of digital or analog audio. The speaker has provided the computer a new technique to interact with its users: through sound. There are several different types of speakers for different uses.
There are different types of speakers, depending on the variety of applications for which you want to use your speakers. There are digital and analog speakers, depending on how much precision you want among every channel. Digital speakers offer much more clearness and meaning, and usually such clearness is involved in surround sound speakers.

Headphones

Headphones are an output of small or large loudspeakers that transfer sound waves from the computer. It connects to speakers, CD players and radios. They are also called stereo phones headsets and head speakers.

Some headphones are used for communication and others are used to watch videos or listening to music.

Headphones have a long history in the world. For instance the Telephone earpiece was invented in the 20th century but as time went by it improved to be a brilliant work of art.

There are many types of Headphones like airplane headphones; there are big ones and small ones, fury ones and hard ones.

So as of today Headphones are really important in the computer networks.

Computer Monitors

A monitor or screen (sometimes called a visual display unit) is an electronic visual display for computers. The monitor comprises the display device, circuitry, and an area.
Originally computer monitors were used for processing data and for other uses such as television receivers for entertainment computers increasingly are being used both for processing data and entertainment.
Flat-screen monitors are used with most laptop computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and digital cameras, as well as a growing number of desktop computers. These monitors are thinner, lighter, and use less power.
What is aspect ratio?
Two measures describe the size of your screen the aspect ratio and the display size. Previously, computer screen, like most televisions, have had an aspect ratio of 4:3. This means that the ratio of the width of the display screen to the height is 4 to 3.

There are two different types of monitors The LCD monitor and The CRT monitor the difference of the monitors are the CRT (cathode ray tube) uses a huge tube housed at the back of the screen to shoot light at the screen. It is much wider than an LCD (liquid crystal display) monitor which uses liquefied crystalline which reacts to electrical signals passed across it to display colors.

Is the monitor used as an input or output?

The monitor is an output device and it is also the most used output device on the computer the monitor provides instant reaction by showing you text and graphic images as you work or play.

Printers

A printer is an out put device. In computing, a printer is a machine which produces a permanent readable text and graphics of documents stored in electronic form, usually on print media such as paper or transparencies. Many printers are attached by a printer cable or, in most new printers, a USB cable to a computer which serves as a document source. Some printers, commonly known as network printers, have built-in network interfaces, typically wireless or Ethernet based, and can serve as a hard copy device for any user on the network. Individual printers are often designed to support both local and network connected users at the same time. In addition, a few modern printers can directly interface to electronic media such as memory cards, or to image capture devices such as digital cameras, scanners; some printers are combined with a scanners or fax machines in a single unit, and can function as photocopiers.

There are 2 types of printers. LaserJet and Ink Jet

LaserJet
Laser Jet is a type of printer that utilizes a laser beam to produce an image on a drum. The light of the laser alters electrical charge on the drum wherever it hits. The drum is then rolled through a reservoir of toner, which is picked up by the charged portions of the drum. Finally, the toner is transferred to the paper through a combination of heat and pressure. This is also the way copy machines work.

Inkjet
Ink Jet is a type of printer that works by spraying ionized ink at a sheet of paper. Magnetized plates in the ink's path direct the ink onto the paper in the desired shapes. Ink-jet printers are capable of producing high quality print.

A typical ink-jet printer provides a resolution of 300 dots per inch, although some newer models offer higher resolutions.
